Such a Busy Few Weeks!

We've had a whirlwind these last few weeks, but they have all been very good things! From celebrating the birth of J.P and celebrating Adge and Jordan's engagement to having our good friends the Swidraks visit us, it has been such a great way to end the last few weeks of summer. We have been able to finally be out and about, and little Maddie girl loves the sunshine (and boat trips, we have learned)! We just got back from her two month visit, and Madeline is super duper long and still such a skinny girl...she is 24 inches, 11 pounds, and I forgot her head, but it's in the 75th percentile. I think she'll have daddies build...lucky girl! She is cooing and shrieking and just being so much darn fun it's hard to put her down sometimes! Maddie is finally sleeping in her crib at night, and usually makes it until morning time, although I get up to check on her so many times that I haven't slept through the night yet! Oh man! She's starting a "male pattern baldness" as well...awesome...I am finding her hair everywhere! Auntie Nic is going to be nervous for her, I just know it!=) We find ourselves really enjoying this stage and finally falling into more of a parenting pattern. We're looking forward to this Labor day weekend, Uncle Ryan and Aunt Hannah are going to come down from Wisconsin to meet little Madddie girl!
