I can't believe that Christmas was only three weeks ago. It's insane how much can happen in such a short time! We just got back from visiting my dearest friend Nicole in Minnesota where I was able to be a part of a baby shower for her! She is due with her little baby girl so soon, and I cannot wait to meet this daughter of my bestie!

We have had a great time with family and friends this past month...God has shown me how truly blessed we are with the relationships we have. And I've been encouraged to be more intentional in loving on the people already in my life...so don't be surprised if you get a phone call sometime soon!

On a very sad note, my dear friend Summer is scheduled to be induced on January 25th. She will be 36 weeks and her baby has what is known as Potters Syndrome, a rare disorder where a baby does not develop kidneys in utero. The survival rate is 0%. But our God does not work within percentage rates, amen? We are ready for whatever God may allow to happen or may intervene from happening. Just as Shadrach, Meshech, and Abendnego prayed before they were thrown into a fiery furnace..."If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it...But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up." Daniel 3:17-18.

Please continue for God's plan to unfold as He intends it to, and that Summer and her family will be surrounded by the peace only our Jesus can give.
